I’ve been playing the rappelz rupees

Since this server is more or less oriented towards free gaming (WolfET). I wanted to mention a game out there to people who might want to play an MMO but not spend any money. Of course, this is completely legal as the game is free.

For the past day or so, I’ve been playing the rappelz rupees  MMORPG. It seems to be made by a company called gPotato. The site for the game is here: http://www.mmobread.com/rappelz_rupees.html . It’s about a 1GB download then a bunch of patches. Free to download, install, and play.

I really don’t know much about the game, but one of my D&D buddies mentioned that he was having fun playing it.

Description: Looks a lot like GuildWars. You can choose PvP servers or whether to go PvP or not on non-PvP servers. Pretty game but runs on low system requirements. You can pick from 3 races, and rappelz rupees male or female. The character customization is simple. The leveling and  rappelz rupee  skills is based on a job system. i.e. you start as novice, and   rappelz rupeecan go down paths like, Cleric, Holy Warrior, etc. then specialize and get more skills.

The game is relatively easy, I still haven’t died once yet or even come close. There are teleportation services for travel as well as inexpensive beast that you can ride. You can also tame creatures, name them, fight with them. You can also open up shop and   rappelz rupee be a vendor, and there is crafting of sorts if you’re into that.

The lag isn’t that bad either, I’ve only been disconnected once, and rappelz gold except for the main town, there really isn’t that much of a crowd. And the crowd is like less than 150 people, not like some larger games.

They still need work in some areas, while you can form guilds, the friends list is not up yet. Also sometimes commands need to be repeated.

It has a WONDERFUL anti-macro system. They randomly place bots in areas, and  rappelz gold  if you attack them, it warns you that it is a bot to stop attacking or you will have your account banned. First offense it kills you. Second you get logged off. Third your account is disabled and you have to contact gPotato to convince them that you weren’t hacking.

For a free game, so far I give it a solid A.
